$10,000 Reward Offered In Migrant Camp Vandalism

SAN DIEGO -- A coalition of North County Latino groups presented San Diego County Crime Stoppers with $9,000 Wednesday to add to a reward for information leading to the arrest of people responsible for vandalism at migrant camps.

The money augments a $1,000 reward established by the crime-fighting group in connection with the Jan. 27 vandalism of migrant camps in Rancho Penasquitos.

Vandals entered the camps in McGonigle Canyon and slashed everything they could find, said Bill Flores of El Grupo, an umbrella organization for the groups that raised the extra reward money.

"This kind of crime, which we believe was a hate crime, is a message crime," Flores said at a news conference.

The migrants were targeted "because of who they are," Flores said, adding that the crime was "un-American."

Flores said he hoped the extra money would encourage people with information to come forward.

The La Raza Lawyers Association and the California Rural Legal Assistance Foundation also helped raise the funds.

San Diego police detectives are reviewing hours of videotapes collected when search warrants were served on three homes, said Oscar Garcia, a prosecutor with the District Attorney's Hate Crimes Unit.

Those targeted in the raids "may be suspects or may be people who lead us to other information" about the case, Garcia said.

Court documents made public in March showed that the targets of the raids were Jeff Schwilk, the founder of the anti-illegal immigration group San Diego Minutemen; Christie Czajkowski, the group's former spokeswoman; and Julie Adams, a Rancho Penasquitos woman who was prominent in the organization.

Schwilk told police he was not involved in the vandalism, but knew who was from rumors, and that the perpetrators were remorseful, according to the documents.

It was unknown how long the case might take to resolve, the prosecutor said.

Warrant: Minutemen Founder Knows Who Destroyed Migrant Camps

SAN DIEGO -- The founder of the San Diego Minutemen told police he was not involved in the destruction of three migrant camps near Rancho Penasquitos in January but knew who was, according to a search warrant unsealed Thursday.

Jeff Schwilk told San Diego police Detective Patrick Lenhart that he had not witnessed or participated in the vandalism and had only heard rumors.

Schwilk told the detective that he knew the people involved were remorseful for what they did, according to the search warrant ordered unsealed by Judge Jeffrey Fraser.

Detectives served search warrants at Schwilk's Oceanside residence and the residence of Julie Adams, who lives in Rancho Penasquitos.

Schwilk and Adams were prominent in the campaign calling for the migrant camps in McGonigle Canyon in Rancho Penasquitos to be razed, according to published reports.

The warrants were granted as part of the investigation into the migrant camp vandalism that occurred on Jan. 27.

The perpetrators damaged personal property belonging to the migrants, and sleeping bags, jackets and tents were cut up during the incident, police said.

Last month, a search warrant was also served on the Chula Vista home of Christie Czajkowski, the former spokeswoman for the San Diego Minutemen movement.

No charges have been filed in the case.

In court Thursday, Schwilk asked the judge to order the San Diego Police Department to return all property seized during the search of his home, including a computer and documents from the American Independent Party, of which he is the communications director.

Fraser ordered prosecutor Oscar Garcia to work with the police to return any items seized during the search that were not specifically requested.

The San Diego Minutemen's mission is to demand maximum border security and to oppose illegal immigration in all parts of San Diego County, according to its Web site.

Several migrants living in the camps in McGonigle Canyon reported that someone had destroyed their personal belongings over the weekend.

"This Saturday, somebody went on a rampage and went through several migrant encampments in this area and slashed every item that they found in those encampments. Nothing was spared," said immigrant rights activist Claudia Smith.

Crews working for the landowner in November demolished several camps in McGonigle Canyon.

The camps have been the scene of recent confrontations between the migrants and neighborhood groups associated with the Minutemen organization.

Police said the vandalism is under investigation but no suspects have been identified.

I know these are old, but the reason I bring it up here now is to show how they use the media to incite rage and persecute political prisoners through slander to get them out of their way.
See, I was the person accused in the media of committing this crime...oily problem was that they chose a day I was out of town and on the front page of the newspaper in another county (with a sheriff) to prove it.
Of course, that didn't stop the corrupt hitmen (SDPD) from falsely and illegal raiding my house and using the media to play it 15 times per day on every channel imaginable.

Of course, everyone knows now what happened, except the police and the media apparently...

Even though I have turned in video evidence and told the police exactly who was there, who did it and how many times they had done things like this before causing me and others to leave the scene, since that wasn't the reason we were sent there in the first place, they still haven't charged anyone, including the people they have video evidence of committing these very crimes!

In fact, these people are still on the streets creating more violence and racism and still on the media portrayed as heros to those blind sheeple who actually believe they are doing something to halt illegal immigration.

So, why would they offer a 10,000 dollar reward AFTER I had turned all this in???  Why would they convict me in the media, yet not charge me with anything?  According to all the reports they played in the media (these are just scratching the surface), they were VERY interested in prosecuting the perpetrators of these crimes....

So here we are, 2 years later and absolutely nothing done.  Is it a coincidence that they quit talking about it after they got what they wanted by me fleeing my home???

Yes, they did.  That's exactly what they wanted.  I was their target and they set up this entire facade, working in collusion with the perpetrator to get me out of the way since I didn't want to go along with this.

So now that you have seen all the evidence, wouldn't you like to help crime stop[pers of San Diego County solve this crime???
I certainly would...even though I already have....so why hasn't anything been done about it and why are the perpoetrators still on the streets inciting the same racve wars?

Simple, they use events like this to take out their "political dissidents" or opposition, those who will not go along with their game.

They never had any interest in solving this crime since it was already solved from the day it happened and I told them I would not go along with it.

So, this is how you can help...you can make them put their money where their mouth is and file reports with the SDPD and crime stoppers who so generously offered this $10,000 reward and not let them forget about the political persecution of one single mother, the only one who dared stand up and tell the truth!!!

It is a crime to let this continue and allow them to ruin my life with their slander that incidentally follows me everywhere I go....every prospective employer, every prospective landlord and anyone who happens to google my name.

They certainly put a lot of effort in taking me out politically speaking, so why don't we make a little effort and call the number above and ask why they haven't charged anyone, especially the orchestrator of this crime they said they wanted to solve?

This alone might prevent another single mother who isn't afraid to speak out in being harmed in this manner...

They thought they could use this to silence me, while making others who might have spoken out fearful of what might happen to them.

Now, let's ask them to simply do their job.  They printed this repeatedly, so maybe it's time to ask them to enforce their own laws and finally have some justice served!
