Bunny Ranch Reno NevadaPeople may be getting laid off these days — but apparently, they still want to get laid. The Bunny Ranch and other legal brothels say they’re seeing a huge boost in women applying for prostitute positions as a result of the current economic climate.

The Moonlight Bunny Ranch in Reno, Nevada has spawned its share of celebrities thanks to its HBO show — characters like Air Force Amy, and even a guy dubbed “Eric the Midget” by Howard Stern. (Apparently, “Eric the Midget” lost his virginity at The Bunny Ranch, and Howard Stern devoted some time to discussing it.)

Now, the brothel and others like it say business is booming, and women out of work are looking to join Air Force Amy and her pals for a high-paying romp in the hay. The Bunny Ranch says it received 1,500 applications last month alone. And it’s not just prostitution, either — adult businesses such as strip clubs are also seeing an increase in applications.

Fabulous. Its about time the oldest profession gets a break. Apparently a Senator for Nevada is attempting to get it passed that the brothel's be brought out of the rural areas and be allowed to start buying up some of the Casino's closing down in Reno due to the economy. Nevada's going broke with no revenue's coming in and the hooker's want to help out. The best main stream media T.V. (aka box of lies) can come up with was interviewing a couple with their kid's in sin city saying how its horrible is bringing brothel's right into sin city. Mean while hookers walking all around them on the street instead. Did I miss something? The brothel's bring in huge revenue,have S.T.D.'s under control, and a lot of class verses the street walking hookers. Not to mention Nevada has the lowest rate of suicides with men 35 an older unlike the complete opposite nationwide. Like keeping marijuana, keeping prostitution illegal & on the streets only makes the problem worse. If the brothel's feel they can contribute & help to bring in the badly needed revenue, a.k.a. screw the state of Nevada out of debt.,let em!
