MYSTICISM

I have been researching, studying and practicing mysticism, psi-phenomenon, astrology, etc., for over 35 years, now. My research began in earnest when I proved to myself that there is something beyond this world that we are familiar with by doing water-gazing exercises that were suppose to help me to astral-project. It was only an experiment, on my part, but yielded some incredible results. I never learned to astral project, but I was able to finally "see" beyond the veil. (Since that time I have had "psychic hits" on a regular basis, sometimes bidden; sometimes unbidden. Usually, these "psychic hits" have dealt with concerns that either myself or someone I am connected with have.)

After this initial introduction to the world of mysticism, I was thirsty for anything that was written on the subject. Fortunately for me, at that time (1970's) the bookstores were just getting started on brin ging in some really great literature on these subjects. Literature like, The Compleat Art of Witchcraft, by Sybil Leek, books by Carlos Casteneda about a yaqui sorcerer, Robert Monroe's books about out-of-body experiences, Jane Roberts' books about channeling, and several on astrology, etc., etc., etc. However, it isn't that I merely read these books. I did the exercises recommended within each book and, like I said, they yielded results.

Some psychologists would say that the only reason that I experienced anything at all, with respect to doing these exercises, was because I expected to have these experiences. They would say that, because of what I read I was filled with expectations about what would happen, in concordance with the books. I would say that it is totally amazing that I experience some of these things at all, regardless of anything that had to do with the literature.

15 years later, after my daughter, Amanda, was born, I decided to finally get an education, and after a few years, I had earned an Associates in Liberal Arts, a Bachelor's in Psychology, and a Master's in Clinical Psychology. I worked hard and make the, Dean's List, every semester. I was published as a, Graduate Assistant Researcher, in a couple of books by George Grosser and Carol Spafford, back in the 19 90's, and I continued with my interest in psi-phenomenon by doing a psychic experiment for my, Experimental Methodology, course.
